How to Answer Questions at Yahoo Answers

1. Go to the Yahoo Answers homepage. At the menu section of the page, you'll find a "Get Started" link.
2. Sign in with your Yahoo ID. If you've ever registered with Yahoo, then you have a Yahoo username and password. Otherwise, you'll have to create a new account. To sign up, give your name, email address and create a new username and password.

4. Adjust your settings. Prior to answering questions on Yahoo Answers, you'll need to create your account settings. Choose a display name, a picture or avatar, and a reply-to email address. Set your privacy settings to control whether or not users can contact you.
5. Click the "Answer" tab. After setting up your Yahoo Answers account, you can begin answering user posted questions. You'll get redirected to all the open questions currently on the site. You can then choose a category to see more refined results.
6. Select an open question you want to answer. After reading the question, you'll see an "Answer This Question" link. Type your answer in the box and then send it. It should appear on the question's page within a few minutes.
